How does the ROT deduction work for your project?

Are you planning to renovate, rebuild or build?

Through the ROT deduction, you as a private person can deduct 30% of the labor cost up to a maximum of SEK 50,000 per person per year.

The best thing is that you don’t have to spend the money – we deduct the discount directly on your invoice.

What is required to get ROT deductions?

To be able to use the deduction, you need to meet some simple basic requirements from the Swedish Tax Agency:

  • You must be the owner of the property (small houses, condominiums or owner-occupied apartments) where the work is carried out.
  • You must be liable for unlimited tax in Sweden during the tax year.
  • The work must be carried out by a company with an approved F tax (like us!).
  • Keep in mind that the ROT deduction applies onlyThe labor cost, not materials or travel expenses.

Hint:If you are two co-owners of the home, you can combine your deductions and get up to SEK 100,000 in total discount on the same project!
